MAC Brushes

As I know from experience, it is hard to find good beauty brushes. When i first got into makeup a while ago, I thought that MAC brushes were over priced and not worth the money. I bought all sorts of brushes from drugstores and i thought they worked great and that i was in no need for overpriced MAC brushes. Boy, was i wrong. I remember the first time I used my mac brush,i was amazed of how great my makeup looked, and i barely did any of the work. The brush did all the work for me! I really recommend buying mac brushes, these are my recommendations for first brushes.
Eyes:
217 (my favorite)
224
239
Face:
129
182
190
So please go check out MAC brushes. You will not be dissapointed and they will last you a lifetime.

Primer??

I know some people think that Urban Decay Primer Potion is a waste of money, right? WRONG! Thats what I thought before I actually bought it. Basically, a primer makes your eyeshadows more vibrant on your lid and make them stay on all day.  I thought i would do a quick experiment and show you the difference in color when i use primer and when i dont. Lets get started!

The dark brown color on the bottom is with primer, and the top color is without primer

The color I'm pointing to is the one I swatched. It is from the Covergirl Shimmering Sands Trio, which is a wonderful trio that everyone should check out.

So I hoped you changed your mind about primer and that was my quick post! Please follow and thanks!

Tag!

Hey everyone! Im SUPER sorry i haven't been posting lately, I was sick with a cold and i was helping my cousins pack because they were leaving. But I am back with a new post! I thought i would do a "tag" blog, like the videos on youtube, but i don't have a youtube.

So basically this tag is "6 things you cannot live without" 1 has to be hair related, 1 has to be makeup related, and 1 skincare item. So lets get started!

1. My flat iron! I don't straighten my hair everyday, but I always style it differently everyday. And my Cortex iron makes hair wavy, curly, or, obviously, straight.

2.  My Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser from Neutrogena. This cleanser leaves my face feeling fresh and invigorating. And I love the way it cleans my skin.

3. My Chanel lipgloss in Sundress. This lipgloss is SO versatile and can be worn without a lipstick and still give my lips a light pink tint. I wear this almost every day and I am almost out!

4. Urban Decay Primer Potion is absolutely amazing. I don't know how i survived without this. It makes my color stay all day and makes them incredibly vibrant. Stay posted because I'm doing and experiment with it soon!

5. John Frienda Frizz Ease Heat Defeat Straight. I use this heat protectant before I blow dry my hair and it makes my hair straight and not frizzy at all! I can't imagine how much my hair would be frizzy without this spray! And the best part is that you can get it at a drugstore!

6.  My Viva La Juicy perfume. I wear this perfume almost everyday. It suits day and night, and it smells kinda floral. If you can, go check it out!

Hope you guys enjoyed this and I will be posting soon!

Cortex Flat Iron Review

Hello everyone! So I'm back with another review(i know i know) but i think i'll do some fashion posts soon, so please follow and stay posted! Two days ago I had some extra time to waste after school, and there was a TJ Max near by. So I thought I'd go buy a Cortex Flat Iron, which I heard was a dupe for the CHI iron. I went to the store and they had a huge selection of Cortex Irons and I picked the Cortex Platinum Collection 1.5 in. Flat Iron in pink for only $29.99 when its sold at the official website for $220 ( great deal right?). This was my first experience with a iron that could do more than straighten, like curl and wave. I tried this iron when i first got home and I said"This DOES NOT curl my hair at ALL" I really wanted to like this iron, so i gave it one more chance and my cousin was with me this time. We looked up some videos on youtube on how to curl using a straight iron and all that stuff, and after half an hour of experimenting, we finally got a perfect curl. I was so excited. I learned that this iron is GREAT for straightening but also excellent for curling. You can get loose or tight curls depending on how fast you go. This iron goes up to 410 degrees F. If you are looking for a great iron, definitely go with this one, but buy it from TJ Max. If you were to buy it for $100, you should just save up for a CHI. Thanks for reading and please follow. Love you guys, XOXO Victoria

Clinique Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream

I thought I would do a review on Clinique's Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream. Now this cream, obviously, is supposed to relief your redness daily and gradually even out your skin tone. There are 3 products in the Redness Solution Line, a mineral powder, the daily relief cream, and a urgent relief cream that has SPF 15. I tried the mineral powder at the store (Nordstroms) and 1. It pretty much made my redness even worse 2. It looked REALLY cakey. It might look good and work well on other people, but it didn't do the job for me. Then i tried the Urgent Relief Cream, it relieved my redness and reduced the look of flareups. So you guys are probably like "Why didn't she get this cream? It has SPF and gets the job done" Well this cream DID do the job, and it is great that is has SPF 15, but it doesn't gradually even out your skin tone like the Daily Relief Cream. So this Daily Relief Cream comes in a jar with 1.7 oz/50 ml and is $39.50. I know that it sounds expensive for barely any product. With this cream, a little really does go a long way. About a pea sized slab with do the job of covering your whole face. You have to apply this cream to your WHOLE face in the morning and before bed. Why do you have to cover your whole face? Because it will help prevent future redness. Cool, right? This really does the job of relieving your redness all over. I have very bad redness in my cheek area and chin area. And after maybe two weeks of use, i saw results when i had nothing on my face. There was little to no redness and no more flare ups around acne. This product is officially my holy grale. I swear on it. Its is amazing. Period.
So I hoped you guys enjoyed this article and talk to you soon! Bye!

Collective Haul!

Hey everyone, so today i have a haul. These products were all collected by me in the course of the last two weeks. By the way, i am not trying to brag. I just thought it would be cool to show you guys what i got, and i you'd like you can leave a comment saying if you would like a review on one of the products. Lets get started!

First, I got a MAC quad in Notoriety. This quad has more of earthy tones. I thought the other quads were beautiful, but i don't have alot of neutral eyeshadows in my collection, so i thought this was a great add! SWATCHES:starting from the left, Notoriety, Skintone 2,
Rich and Earthy, Skintone 1

Then, I have a CoverGirl Eye Enhancers in Shimmering Sands. I absolutely love these colors, the middle color all over the lid and then the dark brown color in the crease is really pretty. I got this at CVS pharmacy.

Next, I got a MAC blush in Mocha. This blush is so pretty, and it will go well with any eye look you choose to do. It is a plum-pink with absolutely no shimmer or sheen whatsoever because it is matte. If you want a MAC blush, definitely go with this one.

Then, there is MAC eye kohl in Teddy. I love this color, it is a deep, rich, chocolate brown. Its a good alternative to a black liner because it is less intense. If you are like me, you don't like having dark, heavy black intense liner. All in all, i really recommend this.

Next i got Lancome Color Fever Gloss in Seductive. This gloss has a lot of color, so i wear it as my lip color. And you don't have to put a gloss over it because its already has a shine to it. The color is also a plum, shown in the swatch above.

Lastly, I got a Lancome Lip Gloss in Optical Rose, which is a really sheer, sparkly, rose color. I think its really pretty for wearing it alone or under a light pink lipstick. The applicator for this lip gloss and the one above is really good. It is shaped like a petal and gets to every crevice of my lips.

So I hoped you guys enjoyed this post! If you like my articles, please be sure to follow my blog! It would mean the world to me. And if i get to certain number of followers, i might to a contest! So thats it for the article and i will be sure to post later!
